Patients or guests visiting the department may encounter many different staff, all whom work together to provide the best possible care.

Adelaide Radiotherapy Centre employs over 40 radiation therapists to plan and deliver treatment to patients each day. Radiation therapists gain qualification through a Bachelor of Medical Radiation or equivalent. This currently requires three years full time study, and one professional development year in clinical practice to become fully licensed with the Australian Institute of Radiography.

Other staff encountered in daily visits could be; the radiation oncologist, the oncology nurse, management and the administration staff.

ARC also employs several physicists, an engineer, and an information technology manager to maintain equipment.
